Purpose and Mission

The purpose of the Citizens Club of Springfield is to promote public, civic, and cultural welfare, particularly relating to Springfield and its metropolitan area, in matters concerning public issues and events; provide aid in public understanding of issues; encourage public participation through forums on topics of interest; and cooperate with other agencies and organizations in these objectives.  The Club is not-for-profit and non-partisan and avoids the appearance of partisanship. it does not support or endorse any political party or candidate.

Alliance Program Overview

The Citizens Club offers annual alliance opportunities designed to build strategic, mutually beneficial partnerships with individuals, businesses, and organizations that share a commitment to civic engagement. These alliances help support the Club’s mission through education, engagement, and community involvement. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all contributions are tax-deductible within legal limits.

Program topics and speakers are the sole responsibility of the Citizens Club of Springfield Board of Governors. Partnerships provide no preferential treatment regarding program topics and content.
